Hungarian painter and graphic artist
1902 – 1986
A recipient of the Munkácsy Mihály Award, Dobroszláv Lajos is regarded as one of the most significant masters of watercolor painting in Hungary.
He settled permanently in Tata in 1942. In addition to his artistic work, he worked as an art teacher at the Piarist and Eötvös József High Schools in Tata.
From 1950 to 1954, he served as the director of the Kuny Domonkos Museum located in the Castle.
